The Greater Chattanooga Area American Red Cross will hold its first ARTINI “Silent Art Auction” fundraiser at the Chattanoogan Hotel this Saturday, August 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Many local artists are donating artwork for the ARTINI Silent Auction which is being sponsored by Parkridge Medical Center, Chattanooga Coca Cola Bottling Company, Memorial Hospital and Dr. Bruce Pendley. Proceeds from the art auction will be used to fund programs to recruit and recognize Red Cross hospital volunteers and support the Chapter’s local disaster fund.
“Barbara Alexander, executive director of the Greater Chattanooga American Red Cross says, “they have been overwhelmed by the response of area artists willing to donate their work to benefit the local Red Cross”.
To date more than 21 artists have donated with several more to come!
Meet local artists, bid on art, enjoy appetizers and try out the signature “Artini” Martini at the cash bar. Members of the CSO Youth Orchestra will be providing music for this wonderful evening. Tickets are only $20 in advance and $25 at the door. To purchase your tickets stop by the Red Cross offices at 801 McCallie, or call 265.3455 for more information.
