Chattanooga’s Miller Plaza is 26,000 square feet of urban park that was constructed at the intersection of Market Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard. The 5,600 square foot enclosed Waterhouse Pavilion provides a great lunchtime picnic and event venue. The stage, landscaping and  seating provide the perfect setting for many regular events including the Rhythm and Noon concert series, the Chattanooga Market Plaza Party on Thursdays and the Nightfall Concert Series on Friday evenings, late spring through September.

Many of the restaurants in close proximity to Miller Plaza provide both indoor and take-out dining to enjoy a “picnic in the park”.

Chattanooga Market Plaza Party is a smaller version of our Sunday Chattanooga Market. The market is provided for the downtown crowd – giving folks an opportunity to shop for fresh produce in the middle of the week and enjoy some live entertainment! 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Thursday until September 30.

The Rhythm & Noon Concert Series begins early spring and this year kicked off on  Friday, May 2, offers free lunchtime programs on the stage at Miller Plaza from 12 noon – 1 p.m. This Friday lunchtime showcases a variety of local and regional artists presenting classical, folk, jazz, choral, pop, gospel and blues music through June.

Nightfall Concert Series, Friday evenings has helped transform downtown Chattanooga as a gathering place for those who live, work and play to socialize after 5! Nightfall has a reputation as a family friendly event so pack up the kids and the dog and come enjoy the music. While here, be sure and support the businesses in the locale downtown.
