The Lookouts are the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, since the 2009 season, playing in the Southern League. since the 2009 season.
After dinner we arrived AT&T field in the second inning for a game against the Mississippi Braves. As we are walking in some fans are already talking ’bout the game.
The stadium is filled for a Thursday night game and the weather is perfect. The Lookouts jump out to a 5-0 lead and the game settles in to a pitchers dual with several scoreless innings.
Blouie is working the crowd with his friend Slider and it is fun to see the families with kids at the ballpark.
notes: The Lookouts are named for Lookout Mountain and have a long 125 year history in Chattanooga. They have won four championships in the Southern Association and South Atlantic League and actually played the New York Yankees in 1931 with Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth.
Former Lookout players include Hall of Famers Harmon Killebrew, Burleigh Grimes and Ferguson Jenkins. Pete Rose Jr. son of Pete Rose also played in Chattanooga.

Did I tell you the game ended 5-11 another loss for the Lookouts but a lots of fun at the ballpark. Never a charge for the fireworks!
